Action Outdoors, the ski and snowboard holiday company offering value for money accommodation and courses for all levels based in the UCPA centres across the French Alps, has launched a number of short breaks for winter 2017-18.

Prices start at £245 per person for a four night stay including full-board accommodation, four day ski pass and ski or snowboard equipment hire and holidays start from November 24th in the high-altitude resort of Val d’Isère during their opening weekend.

The expansion of the short break program reflects the demands for flexible trips during the week and weekends as well as providing opportunities for a winter sports holiday at a low cost despite the current exchange rate – with the all-inclusive nature of the holiday, accommodation, three meals a day, ski pass and equipment hire are all included in the price.

Action Outdoors General Manager, Tina Gale, said:

We have launched an extensive short break program with options to suit all skiers and snowboarders from complete beginner to expert off-piste enthusiasts. Our centres are ideally suited to this flexible accommodation and with some of the resorts within around an hour of Geneva Airport, they are perfect for short break trips in the mountains. Our all-inclusive prices are genuinely great value for money when you consider that the total price of a three or four day holiday with full-board accommodation, ski pass, hire and instruction can cost less than the accommodation alone with some of the other main stream operators. It’s probably why we are growing at such a fast rate, despite the challenging conditions the tourist industry is currently facing.
