Alpe d’Huez opens its slopes on Saturday 2nd December for 141 days of not stop ski until the 21st of April 2018 . The excitement is rising within the resort which is getting ready to welcome our local fans who are prepared to make a long journey to take part in the opening of the season. An unmissable event, festive and friendly both on the slopes and in the resort with the special opening of La Folie Douce, an altitude restaurant and trendy club perched at 2300 meters of altitude.
The ideal conditions for the opening
The snow fall of October combined with the excellent work and the anticipation of the services of the resort to produce artificial snow allow an opening of 16 tracks over 1200 meters of vertical drop.
Departure and return ¨ ski on feet ¨ are assured in the station to satisfy both beginners and experts.
First unforgettable traces for all ski passions….
