Snoworks have re-launched their South American adventure trip for 2017, where keen skiers can experience some of the most remote wilderness terrain in the world in the region known as the Pacific Ring of Fire.

Skiers will need to be confident on all red runs and competent on easy blacks, with some off-piste experience helpful.

Every day presents a new experience with a mixture of ski resorts, backcountry ski touring and of course the famous volcanoes, five of them in total. There’s four different locations where skiers are based in a high standard of accommodation and all meals are provided during most of the trip.

A Snoworks instructor will accompany the trip along with local mountain guides who have worked closely with Snoworks for many years. The object is to ski and explore the areas as much as possible with the majority of skiing taking place off-piste.

Phil Smith, director of Snoworks Ski Courses commented:

Chile is one of my favourite all time skiing destinations and after travelling across the whole world in search of amazing skiing experiences the volcanoes of Huilo-Huilo are right at the top of the list. The forest, the skiing from the top of two volcanoes and the hotel too. It is truly a unique experience.
